Popular Costco Liquor products ranked from worst to best

A trip to Costco always means goodies and usually spends more than you expected, and a trip to Costco Liquor is much the same.

For the lucky few who happen to be near a Costco that sells alcohol, it’s a complete treat and we wanted to round up and rank some of the stores’ offerings from worst to best.

In fact, Alberta is the only province with multiple Costco Liquor locations. There is only one other Costco Liquor Store in Regina, Saskatchewan.

So let’s dive into some of the best liquor from the iconic store, and hope it expands further across Canada.

6. Kirkland Signature French Vodka

Clean and elegant, Kirkland Signature Vodka delivers the goods at a price well below the rest. Much like the good Irish Cream further down the list, some people who try this vodka swear by it and consider it the best on the market. Pour us a martini and we’ll be the judge!

5. Kirkland Signature Canadian Whiskey

Alcohol Costco Canada

“This whiskey is velvety with a huge bouquet of complex aromas of vanilla, honey, spice and toasty oak. The initial sweet nutty character is followed by a rich creamy taste with a slightly spicy finish,” the Costco site States. Honestly, it tastes eerily similar to Crown Royal, which is a plus in our books. If Crown is normally your destination, maybe try Kirkland next time – you might be pleasantly surprised.

4. Kirkland Signature Irish Cream

Alcohol Costco Canada

Costco Canada Liquor presents its Kirkland Signature Irish Cream as a rich, smooth blend of fresh dairy cream, Irish whiskey and spirits. We mean they’re not wrong, and many people who’ve tried this coffee-friendly drink swear it’s the best the competition has ever had. Take a bottle to the lake for those morning coffees when everyone gets a little rowdy on a Saturday? Seems about right.

3. Kirkland Signature Sangria

Mitchell Yarn/Daily Hive

According to the Costco website, this Sangria is a delicious blend produced from the finest grapes, Mediterranean spices and natural Valencian orange essence from Spain according to a family recipe that dates back two generations. Honestly, this sangria can go down VERY easily, it’s delicious and the perfect drink to bring along while relaxing with family and friends.

2. Mamamango Fishing

Mitchell Yarn/Daily Hive

Arriving last year, Mama Peach is the sequel to Mamamango and people were rushing to get their hands on it! It’s soft, crunchy and fresh and definitely a staple of what the store has to offer customers. It’s perfect for brunch, dinner, wedding, Mother’s Day, literally anything.

1. Mamamango Moscato

Much like a candy in a bottle, Mamamango Moscato is a blend of sparkling moscato and mashed mango. Do we still need to say more? This IS the best bottle of liquor to buy at the Costco liquor store, hands down. Come in people!
