! Murcia Today – Dead man and stranger seriously injured after car crash into building on N-332 Oliva
The vehicle would have been traveling at over 100 km / h before the horrific crash of the N-332 in the Marina Alta city, province of Alicante
A 52-year-old man from Oliva was killed and a foreign passenger, 53, seriously injured after a “high-speed” crash at the side of a workshop on the N-332 shortly after 6 a.m. on Sunday 7 November.
The horror crash happened near the Oliva petrol station near the city’s border with Denia, and sources said the car was traveling northbound, entering Oliva at over 100 km / h .
It is not known why the vehicle was going so fast, but the driver reportedly lost control on a bend and crashed into the side of a building on Calle Papa Pio XII, causing extensive damage to the wall.
The Emergency Information and Coordination Center (CICU) mobilized a SAMU and Basic Life Support (SVB) ambulance, supported by a doctor, a fire brigade from Gandia and the local police from Oliva.
Upon arrival, the firefighters had to free the two men from the wreckage and, tragically, doctors were only able to confirm the death of one of the occupants, a 52-year-old resident of Oliva.
The second occupant, believed to be from Eastern Europe, was taken to Gandia hospital for multiple trauma.
