PEDRO SANCHEZ-FORTUN, President of ASHAL, the association representing the hotel sector in the province of Almeria, recently thanked the clients for their support.
After “months of uncertainty and anxiety” during the state of alarm, the industry had a good summer which started with World Tapas Day at the end of June and continued through July, said Sanchez-Fortun.

The public thanks of the President of ASHAL took place during the official presentation of the prizes won during the draw for participants’ receipts on World Tapas Day.

The Hosteleria España initiative was launched to revitalize the sector while emphasizing the importance of Tapas.

This was especially true in Andalusia and Almeria, said Sanchez-Fortun: “No one would dream of having a drink without their corresponding tapa. “

Almeria also went further by distributing 600 “two for one” invitations to Down, Altea, Asperger and Anda associations, he said.
